“Crickette was very thoughtful.
Apart from making the house beautiful aesthetically,
she studied how each of us flows through the day
and created spaces based on that.”
As part of Tatler Homes Philippines ‘Dual Living’ issue, Donnie and Crickette Tantoco opened both of their beautiful homes to me, sharing how they have managed to create two distinct spaces — their modern apartment in bustling Makati and their expansive suburban property in Alabang — both well-adapted to the dichotomous flow of their weekdays and weekends respectively.
“It affords us the best of both worlds,” says Crickette, when sharing how they split their time between the city and the country. “My weekends are all about detachment. In our city home, we rest so we can be ready to work hard again the next day. In our house in Alabang, that’s where we get deep rest so we come back to the city fully recharged.”
