Service is a large part of a Singapore American School (SAS) education. This series of reportage captures the spirit of service as SAS students travel to Bhutan as part of their Interim Semester experience, serving communities in a variety of ways. In this series, students collaborated with READ Global in rural villages in the Himalayan Kingdom, where they offered vocational training in English, distribute learning resources and spend time with children teaching them a variety of things. This body of work was awarded a Gold Medal for Photography at the 2019 Council for the Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) Circle of Excellence Awards.
